Position:  Environmental Driller Helper

Consistently ranked in the top 100 of ENR's Top 500 Design Firms, our markets are diverse and include transportation, energy, water/wastewater, commercial development, industry, healthcare, education and government. We recruit top talent and are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Driller Helper in Pell City, Alabama.

 

 

Position Overview: This individual will support field work efforts on drilling projects throughout the southeastern United States which include, but are not limited to, environmental drilling, remediation services and the collection of soil, rock and groundwater samples. Additional job responsibilities include assisting Lead Driller on a variety of projects and tasks. Work will include driving responsibilities, maintenance of field equipment, operation and maintenance of small and heavy equipment. Position requires up to 95% overnight travel throughout the southeastern United States. Applicant will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (e.g. steel toed boots, hard hat, high visibility gloves and vest) with the occasional use of a respirator and protective suit.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Have a valid driver's license; CDL preferred;
  • This position requires up to 95% overnight travel for project related assignments. Must be willing to travel extensively;
  • One or more years of construction or drilling experience;
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.

 

 

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
