We recruit top talent and are currently seeking a Natural Resources/Biologist Project Professional to join our team in Orlando, Florida.



The position is for a project manager level professional and requires a degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Professional experience should include, but not be limited to, having demonstrated knowledge of various aspects of wetland delineation, FDEP and USACE permitting, protected species surveys and ecological surveys in central Florida.  Responsibilities include performance and/or management of environmental projects including: wetland delineations, protected species surveys, proposal development/preparation, report preparation, project management, and supporting co-workers in similar tasks.



Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work as a team player.  Candidates shall also have experience with client development and be willing to participate in S&ME's client development program.  Periodic travel outside of Orlando may be necessary on a project by project basis.




  • Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences from an accredited college or university;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with natural resource services;
  • Experience with Gopher Tortoise surveys and relocation considered a plus;
  • Experience with linear utility projects considered a plus;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for client contact and technical report development;
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments.



This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
