S&ME is an employee-owned engineering firm that provides civil, geotechnical, environmental, planning, landscape architecture, survey and construction services. Consistently ranked in the top 100 of ENR's Top 500 Design Firms, our markets are diverse and include transportation, energy, water/wastewater, commercial development, industry, healthcare, education and government. We recruit top talent and are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Healthcare team in either Tampa or Orlando, Florida, Nashville, Tennessee, or Atlanta, Georgia.

 

 

The successful candidate will work as a Project Manager within our established Healthcare team.  General responsibilities include development of conceptual design, engineering analysis of design alternatives, drawing/detail preparations, construction cost estimating, specification preparation, permitting / agency coordination, construction site inspections, proposal and report preparation, schedule and budget management, and communication with internal and external clients.  The position requires experience in site design, grading design, stormwater design, utility design, permitting, and construction administration.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required;
  • Professional Engineer registration in Florida, Tennessee or Georgia, or able to obtain within six months;
  • Six (6) or more years of progressive experience in civil engineering design projects including site/land development, stormwater, and utilities;
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Florida, Tennessee or Georgia regulatory processes is preferred;
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
  • Candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written, oral and listening, and good interpersonal skills as well as ability to work and interface well in a collaborative project team environment;
  • Interacts positively and effectively with people in all levels of organizations.

 

 

This is a full-time position with excellent pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
