We recruit top talent and are currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our Energy, Land and Water Resource team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Position Overview:

 

This individual will be responsible for providing project and administrative support to Project Managers (PMs) by organizing and administering all project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the PMs.  Primary responsibilities include initial proposal generation, project setup, initial contract reviews, preparation of project figures, project accounting and billing processes, and invoicing and collections efforts. Attention to detail, organization, and effective communication are key for this role, as this individual will be responsible for maintaining project-related records, providing regular updates to project managers, and communicating directly with clients regarding project specific billing as well as responding to any requests for information. This position also includes other general administrative duties and coordinating with our marketing team and event planning, as required.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred or HS diploma/GED and the equivalent of 7+ years' experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years' billing and receivables experience; 2-3 years in an A/E/C environment preferred;
  • Advanced computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and graphics;
  • Knowledge of BST or other accounting platforms preferred;
  • Working knowledge of standard contract terms, including hourly, lump sum, not-to-exceed, and how they are applied in the billing process;
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and respond to changes in priorities;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organization;
  • Strong service orientation; and
  • Knowledge of project structure in a client/consultant business environment.

 

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
