Consistently ranked in the top 100 of ENR's Top 500 Design Firms, our markets are diverse and include transportation, energy, water/wastewater, commercial development, industry, healthcare, education and government. We recruit top talent and are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Staff Professional to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina.



  • Responsible for supporting project efforts on Environmental Due Diligence, Soil & Groundwater Assessments & Remediation, SCDHEC (VCC) Brownfield Assessments, and development of Brownfield sites;
  • Responsible for supporting and conducting hazardous building materials (asbestos, lead-based paint, mercury, PCBs) assessments;
  • Responsible for conducting field work and reporting of basic assessment activities and Environmental Site Assessments under the direction of a Project Manager;
  • Responsible for drafting basic assessment proposals under the direction of a Project Manager;
  • Responsible for communicating with Clients to coordinate and facilitate field activities.




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or the Sciences;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience;
  • HAZWOPER Certification preferred;
  • SCDHEC Well Drilling License preferred;
  • SCDHEC Asbestos Licensing and EPA Lead-based Paint licensing preferred



This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
