S&ME is seeking a National Practice Leader to join and lead the strategic growth of S&ME's Healthcare team and services. The selected candidate will have a background in engineering, architecture, construction, and/or real estate development and join a successful, highly productive team of civil site engineers, landscape architects, geotechnical and environmental engineers in support of public and private sector healthcare projects throughout the southeast and across the United States. This position has the flexibility to be located in any office location within S&ME's footprint.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire and mentor top talent within our industry; lead a motivated team of healthcare professionals to exceed in areas of technical service, quality and client relationships;
  • Partner with our Client Development team to develop strategies to acquire new clients and backlog across the US;
  • Collaborate with other groups to develop winning strategies to provide the best solution to our clients;
  • Prepare an annual business plan for the Area within the healthcare market sector with a focus on growth and profitability;
  • Maintain ultimate Profit and Loss responsibility for the group;
  • Be present and visible with the Healthcare team and clients, including travel to offices where healthcare staff are located, as well as client locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study;
  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in the healthcare market sector;
  • Licensed in field of expertise;
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in direct leadership of staff;
  • Candidate will have good communication skills, including written, oral and listening, and good interpersonal skills as well as ability to work and interface well in a collaborative project team environment.

 

 

Location: Southeast/Midwest United States

 

 

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.  Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
